Welcome to my blog. I am starting out on a journey to outline a research agenda and design/develope a large software project that will enable said research to proceed unhindered. I will use this blog to record my journey from this beginning to, well frankly, to wherever it takes me. I wanted to put this process out in "public" to help provide me with an incentive to discuss and move forward with these ideas, and nothing does that more than publicly stating your intentions to whoever may care to hear them.
I appreciate and encourage comments and questions, and I hope this will be enlightening for the reader as well as educational for us both.
